New this year, is Carnivore, a curated charcuterie experience! Ottawa’s own Michael McKenzie of Seed to Sausage brings his delicious artisanal, meats–and the company’s fascinating story–to the table. Grab your very own take home charcuterie board, and sample their award winning Genoa and Calabrese salami, Capicolo, Cheese Curd Smokies, Nduja, and Blue Cheese Jalapeno sausage. Everything is individually made by hand. Carnivore is happening up to 9 times during the Festival- we hope to see you there!

That’s why this year’s Festival will feature the ultimate chocolate experience thanks to everyone’s favourite local chocolate maker, Rochef Chocolatier. A 6-foot chocolate fountain, chocolate wrapped fruit, fondues, pairings, Truffle and Bark bars…It’s Choc Chic, with seven different chocolate stations in all! Let the mouth watering goodness begin!

Bottle Camp with Rod Phillips- Find your sweet spot… or your dry spot Wines come from bone dry to very sweet (think of ice wine) and everywhere in between. Where are your preferences on the spectrum? Dry, off-dry, slightly sweet, sweet? And why? In this presentation Rod Phillips discusses dryness and sweetness, you’ll taste some wines, and you’ll see how food transforms the sweetness in the wines you drink.

Enter the Alley through a separate VIP entrance, and meet eight wine makers and experience over 75 international private label wines produced by small and family-owned wineries. This 2 hour event will also feature Gourmet small plates and pass around hors d’oeuvres!
